Full-Time Customer Service Representative

We are accepting applications for a full-time Customer Service Representative, which is a fully benefited position, in the Roosevelt Office. Employees are required to demonstrate skill in the use of computers and be eager to learn new technologies.  Must have adequate reading and spelling skills, have a positive approach in interactions with customers and team members and be capable of working in a fast paced environment.  A completed type test will be will be requested at the time of interview.  1+ years customer service experience is preferred.

Logistics Supervisor

We are currently seeking a Logistics Supervisor who is a critical and strategic thinker, problem solver, and who has experience with Supply Chain & Logistics.  Responsibilities will include defining, developing, and executing supply chain strategies, managing a team of warehouse, purchasing, and logistics personnel, and researching, building, and leveraging relationships with vendors.

OVERVIEW
STRATA Networks is currently seeking a Logistics Supervisor who is a critical and strategic thinker, problem solver, and who has experience with Supply Chain & Logistics. Responsibilities will include defining, developing, and executing supply chain strategies, managing a team of warehouse, purchasing, and logistics personnel, and researching, building, and leveraging relationships with vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate current processes and procedures and implement practices to improve efficiency and security.
Evaluate current Stock Control Records and Inventory Records and implement improved practices as necessary.
Create and maintain a system/process to monitor and maintain records/metrics for vendor performance and compare vendors to improve efficiency and value.
Have a working understanding of the tasks and responsibilities of the department and the impacts those responsibilities have on other departments in the company, vendor relationships, and the customer.
Ensure that tasks assigned to employees are followed-thru and completed in a timely and high quality manner.
Provide training to employees to improve job performance.
Have a working technical knowledge of the goods and services to be purchased.

QUALIFICATIONS
Self-starter that demonstrates commitment to continuous improvement with the ability to convert that commitment to results. Demonstration of follow-through for assigned (and self-discovered) tasks.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Materials Management, or related field or 10 years of sourcing, supply chain, and/or purchasing experience. Progressive or relevant leadership experience required or preferred.

Excellent communication skills at all levels including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong and effective English skills, both written and spoken. Ability to take charge, confidence to interact with all levels internally and with suppliers, set objectives, drive results, be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Technical skills with smartphones, tablets, cable TV set-tops, modems, routers, computers, and technologies such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi, 4GLTE, Bluetooth, etc. Ability to learn new software systems (specifically inventory and data tracking systems). Ability to use scanners for inventory receipt and checkout.
Able to lift and/or move 75 pounds. Able to use pallet jacks and hand trucks to move inventory.

Maintain current driver’s license and medical card.

Telephone Support Specialist

Employees are required to provide advanced customer service and demonstrate above average skill in the use of computers. Employees are expected to achieve individual and team goals and have a positive approach in interactions with customers and team members.  Good communication, reliable attendance, adequate reading, and spelling skills are required.  A type test will be requested at the time of interview.  Work schedule includes hours outside of normal work day, and weekends.  1+ years customer service experience is preferred.

IT Technician - Spectra

We are accepting applications for an IT Technician in Roosevelt with Spectra.  Basic knowledge of Windows and Macintosh systems is required as well as basic knowledge of networking. Must be self-motivated and willing to work independently. Will perform maintenance and repairs on PCs, and office technology. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and with isolating and removing viruses/malware .  2+ years experience preferred.

Database Administrator

Database Administrator Job Duties:

  • Plans database upgrades by maintaining , evaluating, and improving a transaction processing model
  • Assesses database performance by developing a protocol for measurement of results and identification of problem areas.
  • Supports database performance by monitoring database performance; evaluating and resolving processing and programming problems; designing database management tools; answering user questions.
  • Secures database by preparing access and control policies and procedures; implementing disaster recovery procedures.
  • Supports application design by contributing expertise to applications, operations, and technical support teams.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Write efficient and proper T-SQL queries to analyze and retrieve data for reporting purposes, to perform common database functions such as building stored procedures, views, tables, indexes, etc. 
  • Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, transaction logging, recovery, migration, etc. 
  • SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS) and Report Builder experience preferred
  • Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Part-Time Customer Service Representative - Roosevelt

Installation & Repair Technician

This position installs and maintains POTS, DSL, Video and special services on copper and fiber optic networks.  Locates buried copper and fiber cables. Services telephone lines, subscriber carrier systems, terminal, protection devices, and customer-owned equipment.  May also diagnose and repair trouble in switching equipment.
